HISTORY

Partnership Origin & Vision

The University of Louisville initiated its partnership with Kindred Healthcare in November 2017 to establish HIVE as an innovation hub. HIVE's focus was mainly towards:
Developing healthcare technology solutions, particularly for aging care.
Leveraging UofL's academic resources and Kindred Healthcare's expertise.
Encouraging innovation in healthcare technology.

Our Path Forward

In 2023, Cyber HIVE and Kindred Healthcare concluded their partnership, and the University of Louisville assumed full responsibility for HIVE’s operations. That same year, HIVE rebranded and continuing its mission of advancing technology, healthcare, and academic innovation through collaboration with students, faculty, and industry partners.
